You don't get to "end the discussion." I'm not defending the expectation. I'm saying that's the policy, and we work for a company that has decided that's what they want the non-rev policy to be. You have recourse with this policy. You may:
1. Choose to not travel as a non-rev. Seems a little silly to me, but that's your choice.
2. Choose to leave JetBlue to find that greener grass. This one may be your best option if JetBlue makes you that angry. Life is short. Go be happy. Especially if you're senior to me. So long, farewell.
Otherwise, if you non-rev, comply with the policy. It's fairly simple.
As far as the choices go, I never said that cleaning and paying a fee were the only options. I never really offered what the options were. I said I prefer helping out the operating crew versus paying a fee, which is true. I do prefer that.
