I don't understand how almost anyone could be happy with the current situation of making around 70% of your peers. Pay/benefits/work rules/retirement don't exist in a vacuum.
The "if you don't like it, leave" attitude is facile in an industry where your pay depends on years of service.
Anyone who isn't doing their part to bring the JetBlue's of the world up to (or near) the industry standard is an enemy of the pilot group.
