Not true. The ERJ program is in its infancy here at CommutAir, and I'm told that United was pleasantly surprised by our quick progress getting them online so far. Everyone knows the rumors about the XJT sim that caused a lot of training delays, and United was in our corner during that little affair.
There are still too many 50 seaters unaccounted for in the next two years in EWR, IAD, ORD, and IAH. It will take more than CommutAir to cover all the lift that's not being renewed by Skywest Inc. United wants CommutAir to grow, and there is still plenty of room to do that with Air Wisconsin up in Chicago.
