Yes, I do realize that most Americans falsely believe social security is completely self-funded but the numbers don't add up with our unbalanced population. We have too many retiring baby boomers increasing the cost of social security without enough working Americans to fund the increase. Therefore, something has to change long term, preferably in the short term though to avoid a massive debt crisis. Our current president has already said he plans to kick the can down the road.
