This poll is meaningless without context.
DALMD88FO would be correct :P

I listed the DL, UA total time averages in the initial post, so given it is posted in the Major section, I want to know about the legacies. I think AA data will be harder to obtain.
We can throw WN in the mix too, I have heard their average new hire has about the same TT, TPIC as the legacy carriers.

From the ALPA graphic in, 2015 UA hired:
836 pilots- 93% men 7% women
The youngest was 24, average age was 37, and the oldest was 57.
Average hours was pretty precise- 5,934
Least was 1,500, most 24,000.
Unfortunately the Civilian vs military number does not add up 78%/37% unless 15% were military that went civilian.

The ALPA graphic in 2015 DL hired:
921 pilots- 93% men 7% women
The youngest was 26, average age was 37, and the oldest was 61.
Average hours was 5,454, least was 1,500, most was 23,000.
Their mix was 51% military and 49% civilian.

The larger the sample here, the more accurate the data will be. Ideally the data would be broken down AA, DL, UA, WN. I suppose this poll could be done in each one of their forums. Alternatively someone may have the 2016 data.

At the regional level we are getting to a point where its R-ATP and a pulse. There are outfits doing phone interviews for class.
