Dec 09 I believe is when UAL can amend their contract.
Hopefully AS will lead the way, then my AA will get a decent contract. UAL would have to get better. Things can't stay the same at UAL is my opinion. So for those who say "I'd never work there" I think you're missing an opportunity. If you're young/er and can look beyond 2010 then apply. I have friends at UAL that are no happy to miserable right now. But they do believe things will not stay the same.
At AA our contract is ammenable May 08'
We still have 2367 furloughed. We are recalling, I think 2 years b4 we hire.
Go to UAL asap if you can.
I think it's wrong for UAL not to pay lodging. But in the long run. Well say no more.
