Why we have OAK and some other bases is completely beyond me. LAX is similar. I get LA is somewhat busy in the summer, but come on. Almost my entire new hire class from Oct are all in LAX. We literally never fly. It is soooooo overstaffed it's ridiculous. However, we can drop every single day that is on our schedule (and thank god for that). July cannot come soon enough as I head to SFB and get out of a crash pad.

I will definitely be going back to the sim as I will not consolidate 🙄 This despite me picking up trips outside of LA, only to get kicked off of them as someone needs OE. Just crazy. This place can definitely suck until you get where you want, but that's everyone airline when you start out. When you do get to fly it is fun and super chill compared to the regionals.
