Amazon, however, seems to be distancing themselves from ABX So, I'm not sure how much weight you can put on having previous experience running an express operation. Amazon wants to run things their way, not the way Airborne Express used to run things.

IIRC, ABX and DHL had similar issues, with ABX "telling" DHL how things should run and DHL reminding ABX that they were now in control and wanting things done the DHL way, for better or (often) worse.
