I'm not saying I am doing my taxes a la carte. I'm saying that of the $40,000 I gave to the government last year, EAS accounts for $2 of that. And if the program truly is beneficial, I'm okay with them continuing to fund the EAS. And I have written my congressmen and my wife has as well. I understand you are not okay with it, but that's the glory of a democracy. It may not survive but I still support it. I don't have to write an extra large check. I'll write mine and you'll write yours whether you agree with it or not.

And by the way, I also support some entitlement programs as well.
