We know we will have better vacation trip and work rules, otherwise why vote yes. This will lead to them needing way more pilots along with a bunch of planes coming. I also wonder how LSC will be able to deal with it.
Hypothetical question:
Vacation bids are in October. If a new contract were ratified after that, but before the start of 2018, would we go through 2018 with the old vacation rules or would there be a new vacation bid?
I'm guessing that would be ironed out in negotiations, but that could buy the company some buffer time to adjust to new staffing requirements as we live under the old rules.
