If you can get through the 1st year on credit cards and are under 40 yrs old,
the future is looking better for the Legacy carriers.
Pay for a Hotel or pay for a 737 type and try to get on at SWA.
Hey, I was a commuter/regional guy. I remember lots of guys that couldn't afford to try for the majors due to large house payments, kids, heroin addiction (just kidding).
But if you can, even UAL which has no domestic duty rigs right now, but will get better on their next contract, I think it'd be a great move.
But hey, i stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
Perfect...that is why I have a 11/12 class date at United. Top of the hiring wave...might want to check their retirement numbers before you yap.
