Says about 1/2 the people show up for interview- i.e. 20 invited to interview and 10-12 show up that day. I know when Allegiant got their new contract that helped their pool of applicants . There's no doubt a new contract would help with recruiting and retention.
Damn. Half show up and half of them get hired. So that's 25% of the apps submitted. Considering first year pay is such a huge deterrent to current regional captains, it's gotta be tough for the hiring guys to pick out guys they think would make good A320 captains in a couple of years! Hopefully the new contract gets passed soon so more guys want to go to F9.
