So far that has not been the indication from the NC and MEC. They are cautious but also can only say so much due to NDA's.
Progress is still being made. There have not been LBFO's or an impass on any items.

I urge you to attend a meeting, contact your LEC rep, P2P volunteer, or even the MEC. Every time I've spoken with either of those groups, I come away with a better idea of how negotiations are progressing and their expectations for how they need to continue. Typically, I come away from those interactions feeling better about the state of our negotiations.
While we're past the point where I had originally hoped to see a TA, I trust the MEC and NC, and would prefer to take some extra time to ensure this contract is done right, rather than fast.
I agree with you, by the end of this year, we will either have or be very close to a TA or have a real fight on our hands.
