I flew with and Interviewer not long ago and he said they are cold calling off resumes and apps for interviews. Most of the guys are FO's from regionals . Says about 1/2 the people show up for interview- i.e. 20 invited to interview and 10-12 show up that day. I know when Allegiant got their new contract that helped their pool of applicants . There's no doubt a new contract would help with recruiting and retention.
I got a call from a recruiter not too long ago, unfortunately I was on a trip and unable to return a call the same day. I called the person I was told to call if I was interested and left a message. Three days later I received a TBNT email. Did I just miss an opportunity because I was unable to return a call due to being at work?
