Being an ALPA volunteer doesn't just give you blanket immunity to the things you post on here. Do you remember the phone tree a few months back? Does "management has lost the goodwill of the pilot group" ring a bell?
Where does your post about "things continue to get better" align with that message from our MEC?
All exactly right. Hyperchild you do more harm to this pilot group by hiding all the bad things about this place from prospective new hires than what you are *supposedly* doing on your token ALPA committee.
There is NOTHING to defend right now. Nothing.
And to Southerner: there is nothing about our current situation that calls for a devil's advocate. Nothing.
Provide a counter opinion after management has EARNED that privilege. If we are in fact on an expedited (probably not) negotiations path, then you won't have to hide your bluejuiciness for long. Right now you are sugar coating (lying) reality to prospective new hires about this company.
