I disagree. I went last time and got the invite 2 weeks later. Most in my interview group also went to the event. In my new hire class it was the same. Quite a few went to the same event.

No prep for this, its really just an open house where you take a tour and talk to a "pilot recruiter" about your application. I dont think it holds much weight at all honestly.
I've heard of many whom attended the event and didnt get a call. I've heard of even fewer who got a call shortly after the event. It's hard to say weather the call was because of the event or your number just happen to come up and get a call.
Im similar in time as you with a bit more TPIC, with a 4 year degree, and 121 experience and didnt get a call.
The only advice is have your pilot credentials up to date as you'll review it...and bring a few resumes.
