The bottom line is, there's absolutely NOTHING this company can do to compete with the Legacies.
Even if we got Delta pay, work rules, retirement, vacation/sick systems, how do you compete with their stability, and even now, the fact upgrade and QOL increases are much, MUCH quicker there than it will ever be here.
JB will need to agree with a Delta-like contract just to stop the hemorrhaging.....I think this can be a destination airline for many, but it will never be for all who end up here.....JB will always be a stepping stone to the big leagues....the question is for the company is, how fast do you want the departures to average year over year.
Glad we agree.
After today, Maybe they'll realize they need to change either the reserve system to a sane process or watch the carnage during the Summer. They seem to be too disconnected to realize how much a CBA will help. I just hope its not too late because
many are on the way out already.
