I'm fine with calling SWA a regional, if that's what y'all want to do. I'll be doing a 5.5 hour transcon today. During that flight I'll ponder how SWA has shown a profit for over 40 years, is the largest domestic carrier, on three days of the week has over 4000 flights, etc.

The 1000 PIC requirement may or may not go away soon. I would worry more about age 67. If that shows up in January, those quick upgrades at the "majors" may stonewall a couple of years.
