That is not a split line. Those are simply lines with start days other than the first or 14th/15th. A split line is exactly that, your sixteen days are not worked consecutively. Split lines can be useful if you need to control your schedule for a specific life event or while transitioning from first half or second half lines to the opposite. As stated above, you will need to travel twice in a month and this will cost you some of your time off.
