I can't understand why anyone would want to fly the 757 out of SFO: essentially pays the same as the 737, but goes to about 7 destinations instead of 50. You'd be on reserve after two years vs. weekends off lineholder mainly flying Hawaii trips, should you so desire (same for the Bus, minus Hawaii). Better airplane, to be sure, but who cares? It's all about pay and quality of life at this point.

777 or 787: currently running about 2-3 years to hold the seat, several years after for a line. Could be better going forward, could be worse.
