PSA does have long call reserve. Before I left TSA, they had a 12-hour long call window. But, as is the case at XJT, they convert every LC pilot to SC as soon as legally possible.

In addition to the former military pilot, at PSA, we also get some NFOs, navigators, FEs, loadmasters and RW pilots. Most, although not all, make it through.
