If you want 4 days OFF between pairings, that's easy to accomplish at F9 already via swap, drop, add, ect.......be careful what u wish for!
As an NK commuter, I will say that the min 4 days off between work blocks is nice to have. I'm the first to admit that it has a few drawbacks (6 day work blocks, inconsistent days off), but calling it "straight garbage" is a bit ridiculous. Back to back 3 days is not ideal, but it is certainly preferable to a 3 day with 1 day off followed by another 3 day. I would argue that the issues with our lines are more a result of a lack of a decent trip rig and min calendar daily than they are a result of the min 4 days off. You can swap/drop if you don't want or need the 4 days off. It's a nice protection to have for initial line construction. Prevents single days off for commuters and guarantees a base level QOL for junior line holders as well.
