How many people can DAL pilots recommend? I don't have family or any family friends in the industry so finding a DAL pilot rec will be tough for me. Not sure how to obtain one if they only are allowed to give 1 or something.
Also, I'm a new 121 pilot just want to get my app in early. Is it too early to apply without the recommendations, time, volunteer organizations? I'm afraid IF they look at it say no then as I update it not getting looked at again? How does that work?

With regards to internal recs, the only limit is that the DAL pilot can give you only one every 12 months (he/she can give unlimited recommendations for different candidates).
It is never too early to fill out an application, I filled out mine as soon as I completed training in my first part 121 job. I was way below minimums and didn't even had a degree back then but I continuously update my app and once I got the time and my degree I got call within 3 months (be aware that applications that don't meet the minimums are not accessible for review) but it will play in your favor when you do get the call once you do meet the minimums.
