Edit: while I like the leather, I don't agree with it being the only option. You may have a pilot who's a vegan and uncomfortable with wearing animal product, or a skin sensitivity/allergy to leather. They should offer another option like a trench or pea coat, or even a north face style jacket like Southwest.
