I truly appreciate your dilemma. I think Inc. is simply trying to figure out how to make ASA/Xjet work. From someone who recently joined the industry, when I was looking at regionals, there was nothing about ASA/Xjet that would appeal to a new pilot: The fleet is shrinking. Upgrades take forever. In the annual report, the bean counters show a loss.

It is obvious to those on the inside and the outside (with their eyes open) that things are not well at ASA/Xjet.

Given the history of SKW, I don't think Inc. will just shut the doors on ASA/Xjet until contracts can't be obtained. Inc. will continue to look for a formula that works for ASA/Xjet given its realities, including what the bean counters say and it's inability to recruit FO's. There is no reason to operate a subsidiary in the same way that shows a loss.

My recommendation for ASA/Xjet pilots is simple, and in this order: 1) jump to the majors 2) move to SKW and be at the bottom (rumors a CA based in DTW did that for QOL and made CA here within a year) 3) leave to another regional if you can't stomach SKW 4) wait and just continue to be unhappy.

They tried every formula. Its all baking soda and vinegar....
