Minor clarification. Not all civilian new hires are coming from the regionals. I came from another major. Lots coming from expat airlines, freighters, Part 91 corporate, and 91K fractionals etc.

Also an addition. Just flew with a check airman who told me that the company is working on an abinitio 'zero to hero' course similar to what JetBlue is doing.
