I don't know that a KCM badge should have any bearing being that they can't verify you, but otherwise I agree. Some airports without KCM even have uniformed crew go through regular security and I think it's ridiculous. I'm working the only flight out of this bfe airport and I have to take off my shoes?
I've never had to take off my shoes in uniform if they don't set the metal detector off.
