The battery weights have been asked for over a decade. I'm not sure why they ask that, either it's to see if you bothered memorizing the weights or to see if you know which one is bigger. Not that it should matter either. I dunno. I agree it's kinda a superfluous question but it was never a make/break question either.

If you knew the IAC and limitations cold, you were pretty much good to go. Everything else was just for a formality.
