+1 to the above situation. The time it takes to upgrade here is probably on par with Skywest and you could still hold a west coast base and be at a more stable company. Unless news comes out that we renewed the contract on our planes we have no job security past a few years, which is what our upgrade time looks like anyways.
And though the most junior Captain has prior 121, he upgraded close to a year ago. Now that the upgrades here stopped for half a year, everybody got their time and prior 121 no longer helps. The upgrade pipeline is full of people who have the time, there are no more bypasses in my estimate. We'll see for sure when the next upgrade bid comes through.
