Just started my Tri-annual LMS, and was astonished to hear the news hidden in the first sentence of the first module:


"In normal operations, the Captain’s radio will be tuned to VHF one and the Second Officer’s to VHF two. "


I'm sure there must be an announcement waiting in the wings or else we would not be receiving this training.
