I'm in the same situation as you, but I received a DUI on a motorcycle and blew double the legal limit. This obviously led me down the path to see a HIMS AME. The FAA is currently reviewing my doctors letter of counseling. I was curious to see how your HIMS process went. Did the FAA give you a special issuance certificate yet? I'm asking because I want to know what to expect for the upcoming year I have to be monitored. Thanks!
