There's nothing that says you cannot log ME, instrument, night with SIM if you really wanted to.

The problem is that your logbook totals will be all jacked up when you try to fill out employment apps because employers will not count any of that stuff logged in a sim for anything.

Even the 25 sim ME which is commonly applied towards ATP requirements does not have to be logged in the ME column. The type of sim should of course be noted, and will be obviously be a ME jet sim.

If you must log stuff like that, use one of the spare columns, don't mix it with real airplane.
