They know that you all love flying and have put quite a bit of hard work and your financial resources into it; yet they treat you quite badly. One other thought the term "regional airline" is really not correct at all; you folks fly in and out of many regions and even into other countries flying some pretty modern high flying equipment. I remember PBA(Provincetown Boston Airlines), Air New England, and Pilgrim Airlines, now they were regional.
Its because they play on the hopes and dreams of brainwashed flying addicts that have no other skills. They have the crack and we need it. On that basis management controls pilots very easily. It's the only blue collar job where you're at work not being paid.
