He is actually being investigated, he tries to sling mud by saying that these reps were at an ALPA paid training session and doing something else, he has tried to use LEC funds toward the general fund (i.e. pay for high end hotels or meals with a local bases funds), signed a MOU that benefits him and only him, his email quote from a line pilot is absolutely disconnected from the rest of the email, talks about us being stapled to Delta, something that happened 15-20 years ago and is completely irrelevant to todays operation and would have never happened to begin with, etc.

I'm willing to bet that the trust between him and the pilot group is at an all time low. I have not spoken to one pilot that supports Tony in his position, and everyone that I've spoken to from ATL, DTW, and DFW, all believe that he needs to step down. When asked directly on facebook about certain things, he avoids answering the question. When an electric MEC officer refuses to answer is a simple question from a line pilot, that tells me a lot right there. Tony claims that he does training work in addition to his MEC duties. I have it on good knowledge that he hasn't been in the sim once in 2016, yet is getting paid for being in the sim from the company. In addition to that, I do not want my MEC chairman to be a part time position, because that means that they are not giving us the full time attention that's needed for the job.
