What mgt, bod, and the analysts know is that a strike vote means nothing to them unless we get released, which is a long time off. If we took one now or in a year, it won't matter to them. What 99% of the public doesn't know about is the RLA and the significance of a vote. All they know is the pilots want to go on strike and maybe not risk ruining their vacation by purchasing a ticket on us. At a time when mgt cares about the image of the airline, waiting on a vote is only hurting us. Strike vote now and follow it up with billboards and newspaper ads.
