So you guys want to go running down the strike trail again? As before, myself and the other 1224 pilots will not cross your picket line. But, I've gotta be honest, I won't be happy about it. If I understand the issues correctly the points of contention look like they should be settled in court. A strike that brings all of 1224 to a halt in CVG is essentially forcing us to be your muscle in a "minor" contract dispute as spelled out in the relevant labor law. If you go out this time over this are we going to be doing this every three to four months? Strikes are supposed to be for "major" contract violations or impasses in section 6 negotiations. We fought our management at K4 for over six years and were constantly told a strike was not an option. Yet now we are expected to support a second one by the same carrier in 6 months?
