Maybe they won't. The HK cases involved tax equalization and the loss of the foreign earned income exclusion to the company.
But the company is reporting your income to the IRS, and I suppose your address is in that data. They could claim that you lying to them could in turn cause them to lie to the IRS.
I know your taxes ain't my business. But I never lie to Fedex. Ever. They get real vindictive sometimes.
