Basically, how do you like the 717 compared to the mad dog and what are some of the things too look out for in the 717.
Thanks in advance.
5,700 hours on the MD88 and almost 2800 hours on the B717. The only thing better on the 88 is the anti-fog system. Every other system and characteristic is "hands down" better. You can trust it to do what you want it to do. It slows down and comes down in a similar fashion to the 727 which makes it fun to fly. It is quiet. It is like MD fixed everything wrong on the 88 and built the 717 just in time for Boeing to kill it.
Things to avoid on the 717? Avoid 5 leg days and ROA.
