We all knew it wouldn't work from the negative reserve buffer numbers. Whats weird is that the company would stick out their neck like this (threatening a lawsuit) when the evidence will clearly point out that they published an unflyable schedule that was so different from the previous months schedules as to by itself establish a company-induced change in the status quo. Nothing about the may schedule is anything like the April schedule, and seasonal load variances aren't going to be a viable excuse either when they couldn't get through IOT without "fixing" red/green by making reserve buffers negative. They knew they were over 15 pilots short on many days in most bases before DOT even opened. Status quo? Compare april and May IOT/DOT and there's your status quo change right there. The pilots have nothing to do with that, its all on scheduling.
