It has legs to do DTW-MIA and DEN-CVG. However, they are complimented by some 25 min flights as well (ATL-AGS and DTW-GRR).
The -88 pilots I've flown with rave about the 717, however the twitch that they develop from their time in the -88 doesn't go away.
Great airplane. Variety of flying. Nice cockpit. Excellent VNAV and LNAV. The only complaint is the wing, the wing is too small and it's noticible in crosswinds especially. More wing and it'd be a great jet.
Interested to see what the CSeries does to our "coast to coast" route map.
Agree with the previous poster. Stay away from 5 leg days and it's a great airplane.
What's that twitch you talk about? Lol
