I'll probably get shouted down for this but I've been at Spirit for about 7 months. It's not that bad, I've also worked at a dead end, crappy regional airline as well as several years of on-call 135. Spirit is absolutely a better job. Is it Delta? No. It is however better than a lot of other jobs. People seem to forget that up until a few years ago regionals paid garbage, and once these retention bonuses go away they once again will pay garbage. If I can't get called by a legacy, I would rather be at Spirit than a regional.

Also, don't be swayed by the negativity on these boards, it's the same dozen ****ed of guys constantly posting.
