This last week has opened my eyes as to how much this company has leaned on the pilots to "make more go happen". We are talking about 10-15% of the entire schedule. Obove and beyond our regular schedule is how they staffed the airline and then pay half of what everyone else is paying. Don't get me started on retirement.
This has given me very little confidence in our managements ability to execute running a solid airline. Maybe they wanted to see how long they could get the discount for. All I know is that if they continue down this path it's pointless for anyone new to even think about working here until an industry contract appears or the entire management gets whitewashed
One has to wonder if this management team is trying to build an ongoing enterprise or just milking it up to sell.
