I'm betting 30% of the narrow body CA positions go to people hired since 2014. Everyone senior to that has a % bid in for the left seat. Just can't see the 20 year 765B who flies 200 hours a year and gets paid to stay home all winter jumping at the chance to be 717A. Thoughts?
Money has a funny way of making people do stupid things. An empty or soon-to-be empty nest can do the same thing. I don't have the tables handy, but the pay jump 717A or 73NA probably isn't insignificant.
