The 90s will still be in ATL past 2020 (retirement date is TBD for that airplane). The 90 is a much better airplane too (better TRs, engine protection) so it could be argued that the 88 category will get better as the worst airplanes are going away and the better airplanes are staying.
It seems like every 88 pilot I talk too tells me how great the machine is to fly. I love hearing that because it keeps those widebody slots open for me!
