The only red flag I can think of is to say something that would cause them to think you are entitled to a certain base or aircraft type. By all means answer honestly. If you want XYZ base even though it's the most senior say something like, "I'd prefer to be based in XYZ, but my understanding is it's pretty senior right now so I'm willing to commute until I can hold it." That shows you know what you want, you've done your research, but you're flexible.
