I see on the most recent AE there are no openings for the 73NB in ATL. Does that mean if I was in, say, DTW on the 73NB and this AE came out that I wouldn't be able to get back to ATL until another bid with ATL openings came out?

I'd like to do the 73N or 717 if possible and I wouldn't mind commuting for a few months (live in ATL) but I don't want to get stuck commuting for a year if I don't have to.

Thanks.
Sorry if this is repetitive. But for the new folks who may be a little unfamiliar...despite what is listed on an AE, secondary (and tertiary) effects mean that almost anything is possible. There are no NEW openings for ATL 73NB on this AE, but you will see tons of people awarded ATL 73NB when pilots who are currently holding those positions are awarded something else. That's why the mantra "Bid what you want and want what you bid" is so frequently repeated. No one (neither management nor pilots) knows exactly how an AE will really shake out. If you desire a category, it should be in your AE bid... however unlikely you think an award might be.
