Rereading this is making me feel like it's a bit harsh, but I'm disappointed with the lack of foresight from the group.
If I wanted to present a firm negotiating front to the company, I would discuss not picking up open time with my fellow pilots in a quiet side conversation or over the phone. It seems like a ridiculous way to undermine your own position by doing it in a public forum.
