it is tough to compare things bc even an hours to hours or days to days isn't really an "apples to apples" comparison.

I'll fly 7 hours today, which would leave me 100% dead at NJA. But with just 2 longish legs, it'll be easy today at SWA (9 hours duty).

I'm on reserve with 14 days off this month, and so far I've been lucky and have been assigned trips from opentime that didn't force me to come in a day early on commute, but some have to from time to time. Of course it only gets better with seniority, which is not the case at NJA.
