Pay update for those still looking into FSI: A couple of months ago all instructors received a ~13% pay bump to help keep up with industry wide pay increases. It puts starting pay in the mid size category aircraft for a ground/sim instructor(king air 350 and similar weight) at ~80k. Larger A/C (Gulfstream etc.) should start closer to 90k. Signing bonus and 2 yr training contract for non previous Type Rated candidates still stand last time I checked.
What kind of signing bonus are we talking about here? Does the pay increase with years of service similar to the airlines?
