Seniority isn't how many are behind you. Seniority is how close you are to the top.
To reference other posts, the MD is a shrinking fleet. The MD10s are forecasted to be gone in a few years. The "displaced" MD pilots without a home will most likely jump to equal or higher paying jobs (WB FO or CA).
Therefore, as senior bubbas (senior to the OP) lose MD positions (or even Airbus if they go away too), they will push the other WB fleets more senior and some folks may get pushed down to the 757. This is precisely what happened when the 727 closed and 777 FOs with less than about 8 years seniority were bumped off the aircraft.
